Matthew P. Fritz, D.M.A. is Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA where he teaches conducting, voice, music technology, Concert Choir, and the Elizabethtown Community Chorus. Dr. Fritz holds the Doctor of Musical Arts in Conducting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Florida State University and the Bachelor of Music in Education from Westminster Choir College. He has been an active clinician, adjudicator, conductor, and performer. Dr. Fritz has delivered presentations for the Hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities, The International Society for the Study of European Ideas, the Florida Music Educator’s Association and the American Choral Director’s Association on topics ranging from historical interest to technology utilization. In addition, Dr. Fritz is a member of the American Choral Director’s Association, the Pennsylvania Music Educator’s Association, and the Music Educator’s National Conference.
