Dr. Tamara L. Gillis Ed.D., Higher Education Administration, University of Pittsburgh; M.S., Communications Studies, Shippensburg (Pa.) University; B.A., English, Shippensburg (Pa.) University. Dr. Tamara Gillis, assistant professor of communications and director of student publications, advises student media (The Etownian and the Conestogan yearbook) and teaches journalism, publication design, and public relations courses. Her research interests include civic journalism, student culture, change management, public relations officers in organization structures, public art as communication, and a "great books" approach to teaching public relations.
