Projects

Lightshow Generator - This was a project I did for my Signals and Systems course. I used LabVIEW, Matlab, a data acquisition board, and a mess of LEDs to build an array of lights that were automatically "directed" by any sound file. See the LED array, design paper, and video...

Cardboard Furniture - Instead of using the energy heavy process of recycling cardboard, we are trying to develop a tool or process that makes building strong, cheap, and tough cardboard furniture a realistic option for dorm rooms.See the final chair, and the video...

eBoat 2.0 - Two years Club FEAST was successful in completing, competing, and achieving the goal of being awarded the "Most Commercially Viable Hull" award from Solar Splash. This year we have gained exciting commercial sponsors and are developing the most exciting boat to date. The boat, dubbed eBoat 2.0, will compete at Solar Splash May 2009. (Status: On going, information about the project will be made available on project completion)

Personal Transport Unit - A parameter based personal mobility design that was developed to meet the demands of local, personal transportation. (Status: On going, information about the project will be made available on project completion)

eBoat 1.0 - The goal was to design, build, and race a solar boat in the international Solar Splash competition. SOLAR SPLASH is week-long international intercollegiate competition that pits student-designed solar boats against one another through various competitions. I was construction coordinator on this project, it became one of my best learning experiences. See the eBoat 1.0 project, pictures, and more...
