  1. Change your network password
    You want to do this BEFORE your password expires, otherwise you won't be able to use your college email account. Since passwords expire every 90 days, by changing your password in mid May, it will keep your password active until approximately August 14.
    Use Outlook Web Access (https://mail.etown.edu)because it works anywhere you have an internet connection and for everyone with a network account.
            Select Options,
            Select Change Password
            
            
            OK
    Use your office computer if you are a staff or faculty member
            Press: Control + Alt + Delete,
            Select Change Password

  2. Tell emailers you're out of the office

  4. Backup the Files in My Documents Folder
    Just in case something bad happens to your computer, copy everything you've saved in the My Documents folder to your Private network folder.

  5. Email on Slow Connections
    During the Internet email log on, select the Basic client, and if you're in an internet cafe or library, for security, select Public or shared computer
