Problem:
Today, Yesterday, etc., which Outlook 2003 uses to display your messages in the Inbox are not what you want to see. You would like to have a simple list, like you had in previous versions of Outlook.
Solution:
Display the Inbox
Note the groups
Date: Today, Date: Yesterday |

On the menu bar,
select View, Arrange by
Click Show in Groups
This removes the check and thus the grouping

You now have a simple list in your mailbox

You can sort by any column by clicking the name of any column.
Ex. From

Put the list back in the original order by clicking the Received column title. For the newest messages to appear first, the dim triangle should be pointing down. If the triangle points up, Just click the Received button again. |
