Problem:
You sent a message and forgot to include a crucial piece of information. Since the receiver is your boss, and you don't want to look like a total fool, it would be a relief to retract the message before she reads it.
Solution:
This only works if the recipient is on the same Exchange Server (@etown.edu), and they don't 'Pop" their mail. And even then, the recipient will be able to see that you recalled the message.
Disclaimer:
The recipient will still be able to see that you sent a message, which they can read if they wish.
Select your Sent Items folder

 |
Open the message you want to retract
Select the Actions menu
Select Recall This Message
|

|
| OK |

You are notified if the action was successful or not |

The action will not work if the person has already read the message, so think before sending! |
