WORD TIP - #2 Annoying Feature to Turn Off in
Word 2000 or Word XP

Automatic Numbered or Bulleted Lists

Problem:

You typed a paragraph that started with something like A. Lincoln. After pressing enter to end the paragraph, the next paragraph starts with a B. and you didn't type the B!

Reason:
The automatic numbered lists feature is turned on. The sequential alphabetical list is considered a numeric list by Word.
