WORD - Chopped Off Printing

Background:
Windows XP is the operating system.

Problem:
Using a Hewlett Packard printer, Word documents have intermittent problems printing the entire page. Sometimes a message, "margins outside printable area", appears. If you click Fix, the bottom margin (portrait orientation) changes to 2.67 inches. If you click Ignore, the bottom fourth of each page doesn't print.

Reason:
Windows XP and HP need to do more work on the printer driver.

Solution:
In Word, click the Tools menu
Click Options...
Click Print tab
UN-CHECK Allow A4/Letter paper resizing

Click OK

You only have to do this once.
