WORD TIP- Create a DRAFT watermark

Problem:
You would like every reader to see at a glance that the document they are reading is a DRAFT version. (or CONFIDENTIAL, etc.)

Solution:
Display the word "DRAFT", slanted and dim in the background of every page.

Before or after you type the text in your document, use the following menu:

Format, Background, Printed Watermark...

 

Select the TEXT type of watermark.

From the Text: drop-down list, select the text to use.
Ex.: DRAFT

 

Make any other changes, such as Font or Color.

Click OK

 

DRAFT watermark appears.
Because it is in the background, you can type and work in Word as you usually do.

 

Example:
Text typed in document, DRAFT watermark appears behind text.
