Your Task!

You will be placed into groups of five. Within your groups, each of you will have the specific task of preparing yourself to properly care for one animal. Each person will research how to take care of different pets. It is your responsibility to find the following aspects of pet care for your assigned pet:

§ Types of food the pet eats

§ How the pet must be groomed (cleaned)

§ What type of environment the pet needs to live (type of cage, tank…)

§ What exercise the pet needs each day

§ Any medical considerations the pet may need (shots, spayed/neutered…)

After completing your individual research, you must decide as a group what pet would be the ideal pet to own. Your group will then present to the class your pet of choice providing examples of the knowledge you have gained while doing your research. You also must tell the class five reasons why you believe this pet is the best to own.
