Who am I?
My name is Barry Wittman. I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Elizabethtown College. This website is my professional home on the Internet.
I earned an MS and a PhD in Computer Science from Purdue University. I did my undergraduate work at Morehouse College.
My research interests are distressingly chaotic. My thesis research was on approximation algorithms for time-constrained routing problems. My current focus is largely on computer science pedagogy, particularly in the area of parallel and concurrent programming. I am also involved in the development of the Shadow programming language and some iPad apps for math education. For more information visit my Research page.
