Professor Kraybill teaches courses in sociology and religious studies as well as an occasional First Year Seminar.

In the fall semester, he typically teaches a sociology course, SOC 364: Amish Society, which provides an overview of Amish society in North America. SOC 364 syllabus [pdf]

In the spring semester, Kraybill normally teaches an honors course in religion, REL 285: Amish, Brethren, and Mennonites in the US since 1860. This interdisciplinary course examines the experience of these three Anabaptist groups in the context of American culture since 1860.

The most recent First Year Seminar that Professor Kraybill offered was Where Was God on September 11?: Religion, Violence, and Peacemaking. This course explores the religious values and motivations for both violence and peacemaking. FYS syllabus [pdf]
