What I learned:

Planning is an integral part of a project.  The BOEBot project was planned originally over a 14-day course in building and programming.  Software and hardware conflicts alike hindered the progress of the project.  The time taken to ship and receive parts must also be taken into consideration when planning a project.

The opportunity to learn a wide array of programming of hardware and robots and software was present.  The value of working with team members, especially when a deadline is set for a project was learned.  Each individual plays a part in the completion of the final product - whether it be in planning, design, construction or testing. With good communication and teamwork, a project can be completed efficiently.

In the end, the robot was able to receive commands via RF from a laptop computer and move in the desired direction a desired distance. A talkback from the robot to the computer (for distance measurement) was also successful. The progress in this project's software and hardware offer a great basis for future project implementations.
